Abstract
Histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors are used as anticancer agents. Isoform selective HDAC inhibitors are more effective with fewer side effects for treatment of certain cancer types. Here five benzamide derivatives are designed and developed as HDAC8 inhibitor.
